Whether you’re here because you’ve been given the job of training your team or you’re here because your business is to share your expertise, I can help. I’m a freelance training course designer (also known as an 'instructional designer') with 20 years’ experience who believes you shouldn’t have to – and, in the nicest possible way, can’t – figure all this out alone.
To make things easier, you can choose how you’d like to work with me: you hand it all over, and I design your training course for you, if you’d like to learn to design your course yourself, I can provide you with all the guidance you need, or if you’ve created your own course and need eLearning design, I can help with that too. Whichever you choose, by the end of working with me, you’ll have an effective learning experience to fulfil the aims of your learner and your job, all within a budget you can afford.

About Lisa, a freelance training designer for over 20 years
I have over 20 years’ experience in training design and eLearning development.
To stay flexible and agile, I’ve always worked as a freelancer. Over the years, I’ve worked with some of the UK’s top eLearning companies, as well as providing invaluable training support to small businesses, charities and individual consultants.
Before I became an instructional designer, I was an IT and marketing trainer (both jobs face-to-face, imagine that!) and I really LOVE teaching – seeing someone’s eyes light up when learning clicks into place is something I miss now my work is online.
So, with my Diploma in eLearning from The Training Foundation and my Professional Certificate in eLearning from the University of Chester, I’m here to help you and hopefully see your eyes light up on screen.
Personally, my passions are dogs and dancing – although not usually together – and when I’m not helping businesses I’ll be pulling shapes with my four-legged friends by my side.
The question I ask everyone when they come to me for training course design help is ‘What would you do if time and budget were unlimited?’ - then we see how close we can get to that. The results can be better than you think.
